Privacy policy

The short version

This site does not collect, store, or share personal information about you. It sets no cookies, uses no analytics, and asks you for no account. You can read every page anonymously.

What this site does not do

• It sets no cookies of any kind, and uses no local storage, tracking pixels, or fingerprinting.
• It runs no analytics or advertising scripts. We do not know who visits, or how often.
• It has no user accounts, no forms, no comments, and no newsletter.
• It does not sell, rent, or share any information with anyone, because it holds none.

If you write to us

If you email us at info@athensjerusalem.com, we receive your address and whatever you choose to tell us. We use that only to reply to you and, where you report an error, to record the correction. Corrections are recorded at Corrections without your name unless you ask to be credited. We keep correspondence for as long as it is useful for those purposes and then delete it, and we do not add your address to any list.

Buying the deck

Purchases are not handled on this site. When you buy, you are taken to [VENDOR NAME], which takes your payment and shipping details under its own privacy policy, at [LINK TO VENDOR PRIVACY POLICY]. We receive from it only what is needed to fulfil your order.

Things outside our control

Like every website, this one is served by a hosting provider, [HOSTING PROVIDER], which may keep ordinary server logs (such as the address your request came from) for security and operational purposes under its own policy. We do not read or use those logs to identify visitors.

The typefaces on this site are served from Google Fonts, which means that when a page loads your browser requests them from Google, and Google receives your IP address in doing so. Google's privacy policy governs that request.

Card pages link to further reading and to criticisms of the arguments on other websites. Those sites are not ours, and this policy does not cover them.

Your rights

Because we hold no information about visitors, there is nothing to access, correct, or delete beyond any email you have sent us, which we will delete on request. If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Union and believe we have handled your information improperly, you may complain to your national data-protection authority; we would rather you wrote to us first.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date. It will not change in a way that makes the short version above untrue without saying so plainly.
